International Trade Brokers In mid-2003, Baccarat Corporation sent five business and trade delegations to Angola with the aim of developing import and export trade links and sharing expertise with relevant Angolan organisations and companies. The delegations were made up of the Agricultural Research Council, Infruitec-Nietvoorbji-Stellenbosch, Profile Engineering, DPI Plastics Southern Africa and HPL Sea Freight (part of the Hellmann Group). The results were immediate and phenomenal: * HPL Sea Freight returned to Angola to formalise long-term investment and development plans for cold storage, forwarding and freighting projects. * DPI Plastics met with the Minister of Trade and Industry to identify Angolan companies as possible joint venture partners for the erection of a PVC manufacturing plant.
